Facts on Zurich Connect

Zuritel began its operations as the first direct insurer in Switzerland on July 7, 1994. Since then, Zuritel has been constantly developing, and is now called Zurich Connect:

• June 2007: Zurich Connect. New name, new market launch, even more attractive insurance solutions www.zurichconnect.ch
• September 2004: New Zuritel Internet site launch.
• July 2004: 10 years of Zuritel
• November 2002: The 100,000th Zuritel policy is concluded
• September 1998: Customers able to arrange a policy directly via telephone
• August 1996: Beginning of cooperation with companies and trade associations
• December 1995: Customers able to calculate premiums on the Internet
• December 1994: Zuritel is the first Swiss insurer on the Internet
